A resin (3D-printed) conversion set for the Italian bomber Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero in 1:48 scale. An accessory for converting a kit, not a complete model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A conversion and correction set in resin produced by 3D printing, intended for a model of the Italian bomber Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero in 1:48 scale from RESArm. The set serves to convert and refine an existing kit — it is not a complete standalone model. Because of its scope and the work with resin it is intended for experienced modelers.
The Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero was an Italian three-engine bomber and torpedo bomber of the 1930s and 1940s, characterized by the hump above the cockpit. It was among the most successful Italian machines of the Second World War and became famous above all as a torpedo bomber in the Mediterranean. Its mixed wood and metal structure and three radial engines made it a fast and tough aircraft.
Wash the parts to remove release agent and print resin residue, cut the casting blocks and supports off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before fitting the conversion, check the fit with the donor kit; it is best to reinforce larger resin parts and to treat them with a base coat before painting.
This is a resin conversion accessory. The donor kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
