A resin detail set from Eduard in 1:48 scale, from the BRASSIN line. It is not a kit, but a set of German SC 250 aircraft bombs of the Second World War, intended for arming a model of an aircraft realistically. The castings have a fine surface with the suspension lugs and usually come with photo-etched parts and decal lettering.
The SC 250 is a German general-purpose high-explosive aircraft bomb with a nominal weight of around 250 kilograms (the SC designation stands for Sprengbombe Cylindrisch, cylindrical high-explosive bomb). It was among the most widespread German aircraft munitions of the Second World War and was carried by a range of bombers as well as dive bombers and multi-role aircraft. The bombs were loaded into fuselage bomb bays and onto external racks alike.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue. The lettering and the markings are dealt with by the decals supplied; the body of the bomb is sprayed in an even shade and the detail is brought out with a dark wash.
This is a weapons accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
