The Sea Vixen ejection seats with safety belts in 1:48 scale fill the cockpit of a model of the British carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement ejection seats with belts for a model of the British de Havilland Sea Vixen carrier aircraft in the medium scale. It is cockpit equipment, not a kit of the whole machine. The item comes from Quickboost.
Belts are among the elements that are practically impossible to manage in injection-molded plastic, and without them a seat looks empty and unfinished. When they are part of the seat straight from the factory, the work with foil or photo-etch falls away and the cockpit gains the look of a manned workplace. With the Sea Vixen that helps doubly, because its cockpit has an unusual layout and draws attention.
The de Havilland Sea Vixen was a twin-engine all-weather carrier fighter with a swept wing and a pair of tail booms. The pilot sat to the left of the fuselage centerline, while the second crew member was recessed on the right inside the fuselage and could see practically nothing outside. It served with the British Fleet Air Arm from the late 1950s to the early 1970s, first in the guided-missile form and later in the version with greater fuel capacity in the extended leading edges of the booms.
The item comes without paint and without glue.
