Jaguar A – antennas 1:48 (Aires/Quickboost)

A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. The set contains exactly cast antennas for the French SEPECAT Jaguar A attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.

What the set offers

The castings replace the small plastic antennas on the fuselage of the French Jaguar A version with more accurate resin items. Fine antennas tend to be oversized in plastic, while resin allows a more delicate and more exact rendering. The set is shaped for one particular kit, which it matches in dimensions.

Tips for working with resin

  • First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue
  • Cut off the casting blocks (gates) with a saw, do not snap them off
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); plastic cement does not hold on resin
  • Protect your airways while sanding, do not breathe in the resin dust

This is a resin detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

No. It is a resin detail set with antennas. The base Jaguar A model has to be bought separately.

Plastic antennas tend to be oversized. The resin castings are more delicate and look more realistic.

With super glue (cyanoacrylate) only. Ordinary plastic cement does not hold on resin.
