The CMK 1:48 Soviet Tank Desant Troops, part 2 is a resin set of two figures of Soviet infantrymen riding on a tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second of two sets of resin figures in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker CMK. It shows Soviet tank desant troops in the Second World War: one soldier stands holding on to a grab handle on the turret, the other sits on the hull. The arms and heads are cast separately for better detail.
Tank desant carried submachine-gun infantry straight on the armor of a tank, from where the men went into the attack. The poses of the figures match a crew riding on the T-34 medium tank and on other types, and they follow on well from the first part of the set.
Wash the parts free of release agent residue and cut the casting blocks off. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and sand with your airways protected. Apply a primer before painting; the uniforms and the flesh tones come out well in acrylics finished with an enamel or oil wash.
The set contains unpainted resin figures. The tank model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
