Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I masks 1:48

A self-adhesive die-cut masking set from the Czech maker Eduard for the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I fighter in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor a paint but precisely die-cut kabuki masks that give crisp framing around the glazing when airbrushing. Besides the canopy frames, Eduard sets usually also hold circular masks for the tires, which makes spraying them cleanly easier.

Use

  • Stick the masks onto the canopy frames following their pre-cut shapes.
  • Cover the open glass as well, so that the paint cannot reach it.
  • Use the circular masks for a clean transition between tire and hub.
  • Once the paint is dry, lift the masks off carefully.

For modelers who want quick and straight framing of the canopy with no risk of paint creeping. Intended for Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I models in this scale.
