It holds cast resin parts, in some cases supplemented with photo-etch. It is an aftermarket accessory meant for modelers, not a complete kit.
The StuH 42 (Sturmhaubitze) was created on the StuG III chassis and replaced the anti-tank gun with a short 105 mm howitzer for fire support of infantry. The vehicles were committed in the second half of the war on all fronts.
The conversion is more demanding than an ordinary detail: it calls for modifying the base model, cleaning the resin free of release agent, cutting off the casting blocks and accurate alignment. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and bend the photo-etched parts in a bender. Recommended for more experienced modelers.
