Su-17/22 M3/M4 Fitter-K parachute container (1:48) is a resin accessory set of the brake parachute container for models of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-17/Su-22 fighter-bomber from Quickboost. It replaces the plastic part with an accurate casting.

This resin accessory set from Quickboost (a line of the manufacturer Aires) brings, in 1:48 scale, a faithfully rendered brake parachute container of the Sukhoi Su-17 fighter-bomber and the export Su-22 in the M3 and M4 versions (Fitter-K). The fine resin casting replaces the plastic part from the box and is marked by an easy drop-in fit. It is a detail accessory, not an aircraft kit.
The Sukhoi Su-17 and its export version the Su-22 were widespread Soviet fighter-bombers with a variable-geometry wing. The brake parachute container, placed at the rear of the fuselage by the vertical tail, served to shorten the landing run and is among the prominent details of the rear of the aircraft.
Wash the resin part free of mold release agent, separate it carefully from the casting block and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The detail comes out once painted in the base shade of the fuselage and the panels are picked out with a wash and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
