This resin accessory contains separate landing flaps for models of the Sukhoi Su-17M4 fighter-bomber (NATO reporting name Fitter-K) in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail set that replaces the closed flaps from the base kit with castings that let you show the wing with the flaps lowered, as on a parked aircraft.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); watch the angle and keep both sides symmetrical. The inner surfaces and the flap wells usually carry a different shade, which a wash will bring out. Protect your breathing when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
