1:32 T-6G - 3D printed color decals of the interior (Kitty Hawk) from Quinta Studio will refine the cockpit of the trainer without photo-etched parts and without painting the instruments.

The set holds 3D printed elements printed on decal paper, which are supplied already in color. They take the place of classic photo-etched parts and resin accessories and suit precisely a large scale, where the interior is best seen. The set is cut for the Kitty Hawk kit in 1:32 scale.
The North American T-6 Texan belongs among the most widespread piston trainers in history. The two-seat monoplane with a radial engine served dozens of air forces for the advanced training of pilots. The T-6G version is a postwar modernization with altered equipment in the cockpit and an adapted fuel system. It is precisely on a trainer with long glazing and two workstations that a detailed interior pays off most, as practically the whole cockpit is visible on a finished model.
The elements are transferred onto a cleaned surface coated with gloss varnish, whose shape they follow once they adhere. The element that has been cut out is laid in lukewarm water for about 15 seconds and slid off the carrier paper; the manufacturer prohibits a softener and a setting solution, as the chemicals would damage the printed resin layer. Work with tweezers, unify the base beforehand with a darker shade and let the elements dry thoroughly before you close the cockpit with the frame of the glazing.
It is an accessory for detailing, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
