This accessory from the Quickboost brand (Aires) is not an airplane model but a small resin set of the infrared sensors of the MAK L-082 threat warning system for building the Soviet Su-24 Fencer ground-attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. The cast sensors replace simplified or missing parts and refine the external appearance of the airframe.
The Sukhoi Su-24, with the NATO reporting name Fencer, is a Soviet two-seat ground-attack aircraft with a variable-geometry wing intended for all-weather attacks on ground targets. The warning systems and sensors are among the small but conspicuous features of its airframe.
Carefully cut the small resin parts from the casting block, clean them up and fit them in the correct positions on the airframe. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Because of the small size of the parts we recommend working with tweezers and good lighting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
