A resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale from Quickboost (Aires). It is not an airplane model, but an ejection seat with molded safety belts for building the Sukhoi Su-25 ground-attack aircraft. The seat replaces the simpler part from the base kit and brings the detail of the cockpit markedly to life.
The Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO reporting name Frogfoot) is a single-seat subsonic ground-attack aircraft intended for close support of ground troops. It is ruggedly built, with armor around the pilot cockpit. The ejection seat allows an emergency escape from the machine.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The molded belts come out once painted and brought out with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
