Open drag chute covers for the Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot 1:48 (Quickboost)

This is a resin detail set from Quickboost for models of the Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a set of parts that lets you show the rear covers of the drag chute bay in the open position, that is with the bay swung open. The accessory is intended for more experienced modelers.

Use

• showing the covers of the drag chute bay open at the rear of the fuselage
• bringing the model to life with a detail that the plastic from the box does not allow
• suitable for a scene after landing or on the flight line
• replacing the closed parts with a faithful casting

Work tips

Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. A matching opening has to be cut into the fuselage according to the instructions. Cut the casting blocks off and sand them with respiratory protection, and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the inside of the bay and the covers according to the documentation and pick them out with a wash.
