This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Aires replaces the cockpit of a North American T-28 Trojan model with a faithfully cast interior in 1:48 scale. It contains refined tubs for both seats arranged one behind the other, instrument panels and side consoles. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model in its own right.
The North American T-28 Trojan was an American trainer with a radial engine, introduced in the 1950s. It served for basic and advanced training and, in its armed derivatives, for light tasks as well. The tandem cockpit layout with its large glazing makes the interior a prominent area to look at.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the interior before the fuselage is closed. Sand resin with your airways protected.
This is a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
