This Quickboost set (a range of the Aires company) contains resin replacement antennas for the European Panavia Tornado multirole combat aircraft in the IDS version, in 1:48 scale. It is a small detail accessory for a kit that will replace the thick and poorly rendered plastic antennas with finer and tougher resin parts.
The Panavia Tornado is a twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-sweep wing, developed jointly by the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. The IDS (Interdictor/Strike) version was intended for strikes and for penetrating to ground targets. The fuselage and the tail surfaces carried a number of small antennas, which are a prominent detail on a model.
Take the castings out of the casting blocks carefully and clean them up. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. The antennas are usually painted together with the fuselage, and the small parts can be picked out by hand with a brush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
