This is an aftermarket set of aircraft armament, not an aircraft model. It brings a resin, 3D-printed UPK-23-250 universal cannon pod in 1:48 scale. The faithfully rendered external pod completes the armament of models of Soviet and Eastern tactical aircraft and attack helicopters.
The UPK-23-250 is a Soviet external cannon pod housing a twin-barrel 23 mm cannon with its ammunition supply and its drive. It was carried by tactical aircraft and attack helicopters to strengthen firepower against ground targets. It is a characteristic element of the external stores of equipment of Eastern design.
Separate the pod from the print supports, wash it and degrease it. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint it in the appropriate shades, set the barrels and the muzzles apart with a metallic tone and add a light patina. Take care that it sits properly on the pylon. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
