The Furball Aero-Design US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron 2021 (1:48) is a set of waterslide decals with the markings of the Blue Angels display team on F/A-18E/F Super Hornets. It is an accessory for a plastic model of your own, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set brings waterslide decals with the markings of the American naval display team the Blue Angels from the 2021 season, when they re-equipped with twin-engine Super Hornets. It is neither a model nor parts of one, but a separate aftermarket sheet for an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet plastic model already built in 1:48 scale. A special badge for the 75th anniversary of the team is included as well.
The Blue Angels are the display team of the US Navy. In the 2021 season they performed on single-seat F/A-18E and two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornets in their iconic blue and yellow scheme. Besides the standard machines, the set offers two fictional schemes: the all-white Casper and the yellow Beetle Bomb, which refer to the history of the team.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish, so that no silvering occurs under the film. Dip the motif briefly in lukewarm water, slide it into place and press the excess water out gently. The large blue motifs call for patience and for a decal softener; once dry, even the surface out with a gloss varnish that matches the glossy finish of the real machines.
This is a decal set on its own. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
