The British tank commander, half figure is a resin figure in 1:48 scale intended for the open hatch of British and Allied tanks of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin, 3D-printed figure showing a tank commander of the British and Commonwealth forces of the Second World War. It is what is known as a half figure, that is, the upper half of the body, meant to be fitted into an open turret hatch. It brings the silhouette of a finished tank model to life and gives the scene both scale and a human dimension.
Tank commanders of the British Empire and the Commonwealth often rode with the hatch open for a better view. The uniform and headgear match the armored units of the British and Allied forces on the European as well as the North African battlefield.
Wash the figure and clean up the small supports left by the 3D printing. Glue it with cyanoacrylate. Acrylic paints suit the skin and the uniform, with the shadows and highlights applied as glazes; the details of the face can be refined with oil paints.
This is an add-on figure, not a model of a vehicle. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and paints and glue are not included in the package.
