Eduard Yak-1 1:48 is a pre-painted self-adhesive photo-etched set for detailing the cockpit of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-1 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pre-painted self-adhesive photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale, intended for detailing the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-1 fighter. This is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit. From the line of simplified pre-painted sets, it concentrates above all on the cockpit: it offers a color-printed instrument panel, seat belts and other fine cockpit items.
The Yakovlev Yak-1 was one of the first modern Soviet fighters of the Second World War and the basis of the whole successful Yak family. Its mixed construction of wood and metal was simple and stood up to field conditions on the Eastern Front. The aircraft excelled in agility and became a mainstay of Soviet fighter aviation.
Peel the pre-painted self-adhesive parts off and set them in place; align them with the plastic parts, which sometimes need thinning down. Bend the fine photo-etched items precisely and fix them with super glue. Finish and fit out the cockpit before closing up the fuselage.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not an airplane model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
