The set is developed for the plastic kit from the ARK Models brand. It is neither a kit nor a model: it replaces the bare plastic interior parts with a richly divided, three-dimensionally raised and pre-painted surface. On a tandem trainer with a glazed cockpit the interior is well visible.
A 3D decal is a relief color decal: the instrument panels of both cockpits, the side panels, the seats and other elements are raised and painted at the factory. They are applied the wet way like a decal, but with their thickness they behave more like pre-painted photo-etched parts. The dials have clear gloss glazing, so they look realistic.
