Yak 9 exhaust is a resin set of exhaust outlets in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. It is a detail accessory for a model and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.

This resin set contains the engine exhaust outlets for the Yakovlev Yak-9. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory. The castings have suggested hollow openings and fine relief and will replace the solid plastic exhausts from the kit with a more accurate rendering.
The Yakovlev Yak-9 was a Soviet fighter, one of the most widespread aircraft of its country from the second half of the war. It was powered by a Klimov V12 engine. The exhaust outlets along the sides of the forward fuselage are a prominent detail of the airframe.
Wash the parts to remove mold release, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond the outlets with super glue (cyanoacrylate). They come into their own in dark metallic shades with burnt steel and heat discoloration toward the openings.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
