This is not a model or a structural accessory but an aid for spraying sharp frames of the glazing and the wheels. The one-sided variant masks the outer side of the canopy. The parts are of kabuki film, numbered and ready to be applied at once. The masks are cut for the Zvezda kit.
The Yakovlev Yak-9D was a Soviet fighter of the Second World War in the version with an increased fuel load for longer range. It was among the most numerous Soviet fighters and stood out for its good agility and simple construction.
