A set of waterslide decals from the Czech maker AML in 1:48 scale for the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-9 fighter from the period of the Second World War. The sheet offers color schemes of machines of the Soviet Air Force including the national insignia and tactical markings.
A multicolor sheet of waterslide decals and instructions for the finishes. It takes in red stars, tactical numbers and other markings for several machines. It is a decal set in its own right: a plastic model of the Yak is not included in the package.
The Yak-9 was among the most widespread Soviet fighters of the Second World War. It was built in a number of versions, from light fighters to a variant with a powerful cannon; it served from 1942 right into the postwar years and became the backbone of the frontline fighter force.
Apply the decals onto a glossy, smooth base, so that the film does not silver. Soak the part, slide it into place, soak the water away and settle it with a decal softener; finally go over it with a varnish of the corresponding gloss.
The accessory holds only decals and instructions. The model and paints are not included.
