MRP-A099 DARK SLATE GREY

Mr.Paint MRP-A099 Dark Slate Grey - water thinnable acrylic, 17 ml

A modeling paint from the MRP Aqua range of the manufacturer Mr.Paint. It is a water thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml dropper bottle, suitable for the airbrush and the brush alike. The Aqua range is thinned with water or with the thinner intended for it, has a low odor and the tools are cleaned with water after work. The shade Dark Slate Grey is the British dark slate gray with a distinct green cast, which the Royal Air Force used above all on the upper surfaces of aircraft in maritime schemes.

Use

• The upper camouflage of British machines in RAF maritime schemes, typically the aircraft of Coastal Command and machines operating over the sea, where the dark slate gray was combined with Dark Sea Grey.
• Airbrush: the paint is ready to spray; thin it with water or the thinner for the Aqua range as needed and spray in thin coats.
• Brush: apply thin coats and let each one dry thoroughly before adding the next.
• Shake the bottle properly before use; clean the airbrush and brushes immediately after work.
• On smooth surfaces a primer pays off; after the camouflage is finished, varnish and weathering follow.

Who the paint is for

For modelers who build British aircraft of the Second World War and need the right shade of dark slate gray from a coherent RAF palette. A water thinnable acrylic will be appreciated by anyone who builds at home without extraction, because the low odor and cleaning with water make the work considerably simpler. The paint ties in with the other shades of the British palette, so a whole scheme can be sprayed within one range.

The paint is intended for modeling use. Provide good ventilation and do not inhale the atomized spray; use a respirator when spraying. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin, keep out of the reach of children and close the bottle well after use.
