The Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka Model 22 in 1:48 scale from the Czech brand Brengun — an injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese piloted attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese special attack aircraft Ohka Model 22 in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Brengun. The package contains plastic parts supplemented with photo-etched metal and a decal sheet, which makes it possible to build a well equipped model of a small machine. Check the exact contents against the instructions.
The Ohka was a piloted attack aircraft that Japan deployed at the close of the Second World War against Allied ships. While the operationally deployed Model 11 was powered by a rocket, the Model 22 was given a Tsu-11 motorjet power unit and a smaller warhead. Around fifty examples were built, but the Model 22 never reached operational service.
Because of the small size of the parts, work with a sharp knife and a fine file and glue the photo-etched parts with super glue. Join the plastic parts with thin plastic cement and sand the joints down. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush and fine masking of the glazing suit the typical Japanese shades and markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
