Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft PZL-23B Karas in 1:48 scale from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby. The model captures the characteristic single-engine low-wing aircraft with fixed landing gear and a ventral gondola for the gunner. Check the exact contents of the box and the number of decal options against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The PZL-23B Karas was a Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the 1930s with a radial engine and a crew of three. Under the fuselage it carried a lowered gondola for the ventral gunner and bombardier. In September 1939 it formed the backbone of the Polish bomber and reconnaissance units and was sent against the advancing German columns, although it was vulnerable to modern fighters.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them down. Paint and highlight the cockpit and the ventral gondola before you close the fuselage; glue the extensive glazing carefully with canopy cement. Apply a primer before painting. Polish aircraft wore the typical camouflage in Polish khaki (the so-called Polish green) with a light underside — after the gloss coat and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a wash and add fine weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
