The printed sheet is ready for lining partitions and backdrops. The size of 105x160 mm corresponds, once converted at the chosen reduction, to an area of roughly 3.5 by 5.5 meters, that is the whole wall of an ordinary living room. One piece can therefore cover one large area or two smaller ones.
With wallpaper the size of the repeating motif is the key thing. A stripe or a flower that would measure ten centimeters in reality has to come out at barely three millimeters on a model, or the whole room looks like a doll's house. That is exactly why it pays to reach for a sheet prepared directly for this reduction and not to scale your own pictures down without checking the size of the motif.
Line the walls before you glue them together, because in a finished box it is hard to maneuver a brush loaded with glue. Cover the lower edge with a strip of thin section and hide the upper one under a cornice. Once finished, leave the whole assembly overnight weighted down with a flat board, so that the paper does not ripple as it dries and the surfaces stay flat. Only at the very end come the doors, window frames and furniture, which are fitted into an already finished surface.
