Responsibility details are not available.
The set deals with the outer surfaces of the glazing and the tires. The individual shapes are finished, and it is enough to pop them out of the sheet and press them in place; after spraying the edge stays clean and sharp. Anyone who needs to treat the inner side of the frames too should look for the rendition for both sides. The maker is the brand Art Scale Kit from Liberec.
The nickname arose from a family play on words: the pilot named the machine after his brother's dog, which was called Flea Bait. The name proved prophetic, because the aircraft collected hits from anti-aircraft artillery throughout its service and nevertheless always came back. Among other things it took part in the attacks on the eve of the Normandy landings and at the close of the war it was already among the most experienced machines of its group. After the capitulation of Germany it was chosen for permanent preservation, the front part of the fuselage went through years of conservation and today it can be seen in a museum exhibition devoted to the air war.
First rid the glazing of grease, then apply the stencils and run a fingernail over the edges. Apply the base shades from lighter to darker and leave time between the coats for them to set. Remove the masks before the varnish hardens completely, or the film will tear at the edge.
It is supplied without a model and without paints, as a separate masking aid.
