A set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals for the interior of the cockpit of a model of the American stealth attack aircraft Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk in 1:72 scale. The detail is printed on a flexible film with fine relief, so the instrument panel and the side panels gain a three-dimensional look with no use of photo-etched parts or resin. The set is intended for Academy kits.
The Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk was the first aircraft put into production service designed with the emphasis on being hard to detect by radar. Its faceted, sharply angled shape and black finish make it an icon of the Cold War and of modern conflicts. The modern cockpit with multifunction displays is a suitable place for detailed rendering.
Cut the individual parts out of the sheet, lift them off the backing and place them in the appropriate spot in the cockpit; the flexible film adapts to the shape of the plastic. For better adhesion degrease the surfaces and use a drop of water-based glue or a decal softener if needed. The pre-printed colors speed up the finishing of the interior.
This is a set of decals for an interior, not a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package.
