Eduard Gloster Meteor FR.9 SPACE 1:32 is a set of 3D decals and steel photo-etched parts for the cockpit of the reconnaissance version of the Revell kit.

A detail set from the SPACE line by the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the Gloster Meteor FR.9 kit in 1:32 scale from Revell. It combines raised 3D decals with color-printed instrument panels and steel photo-etched parts including the seat belts. It is intended for the FR.9 reconnaissance variant, which differs from the F.8 fighter. This is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for the cockpit.
The Gloster Meteor FR.9 was the photo-reconnaissance version of the successful British jet fighter. It was derived from the F.8, but it had a modified nose with room for cameras, which made it suitable for tactical reconnaissance. It served with the British and with foreign air forces in the 1950s.
The 3D decals are not dipped in water: moisten only the backing paper underneath them, lift the part off with tweezers and set it into a small amount of white PVA glue. Cyanoacrylate is not suitable for them according to the manufacturer. A decal softener does not belong here, as it attacks the print. The photo-etched parts are glued with cyanoacrylate.
This is an accessory set (3D decals and photo-etched parts), not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
