Static grass from Heki in a dark green shade. Fiber length 2 to 3 mm, a 50 g package. A short fiber stands up more easily than a long one and creates continuous low growth which does not look neglected.
The saturated shade corresponds to grass on damp, rich soil and in the shade of buildings or trees. For a parched summer hillside it would be too dark, but it will serve well as a bottom layer over which paler grass is then applied. A length of 2 to 3 mm corresponds in 1:87 scale to growth roughly 17 to 26 cm tall, and in 1:35 scale to about 7 to 11 cm. This is therefore a mown lawn or low pasture, not wild growth.
For builders of dioramas and layouts who need low grass over a larger area. Fifty grams will do even for a more extensive scene, because a short fiber is applied in a thin layer.
The package holds static grass only. The glue, an applicator and a surface are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
