This is a self-adhesive holographic film, not a paint and not a photo-etched part. On the model it creates the iridescent, metallic sheen of the glass of optics, sensors and lenses. The film is prepared for a model of the modern M-SHORAD air defense vehicle on the chassis of the Bradley M2A4 infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35 scale.
The optics and sensors of modern vehicles reflect strongly in the light. That effect is hard to imitate with ordinary paint, so a cut piece of the film is stuck straight onto the lens or the sensor window and gives it a realistic sheen. It is especially useful with the dense sensor fit of modern vehicles.
This is an accessory for the model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
