A figure of an operator of the Ukrainian Omega special operations unit in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Omega is a special operations unit of the Ukrainian National Guard. These are soldiers trained for tasks that are not carried out in a close formation: small groups, independent decisions, equipment put together to suit the task rather than a regulation. That is exactly what makes a modern operator interesting for a modeler. Unlike the uniformity of the Second World War, every man has his own arrangement of carriers, pouches and accessories, so two figures side by side never look the same.
The figure in 1:35 scale captures one operator. The line holds two items with exactly the same name, so compare the contents of the package. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread for ground equipment and dioramas, so the figure fits models of vehicles and other figures alike.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remnant down carefully, so that the folds and the edges of the equipment are kept. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, and choose the glue according to the material of the parts. On a modern uniform the camouflage pattern is what decides: start with the base tone, apply the patches with a thin brush and do not overdo their contrast, otherwise the figure will visually fall apart in 1:35 scale. The equipment, on the other hand, takes a more pronounced difference, because carriers and pouches tend to be in a different shade from the suit.
For builders of modern dioramas and for collectors of figures who follow present-day conflicts. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
