Mr.Paint MRP-A095 Dark Sea Grey is a water-thinnable acrylic model paint from the MRP AQUA line of the Slovak maker Mr.Paint. It is not a kit but a paint in a dropper bottle with a volume of 17 ml. It is pre-thinned for airbrush spraying and can be applied with a brush as well. It dries to a satin (semi-gloss) surface that takes decals, washes and filters directly, and it has a low odor.
Dark Sea Grey is a dark, deeply gray camouflage shade of the Royal Air Force to the British standard (BS 638). It belongs to the group of sea grays that the RAF and the Fleet Air Arm used on the upper surfaces of aircraft operating over the sea, and in the later part of the Second World War and in the postwar period also as an ordinary upper camouflage gray in combination with the shade Dark Green. It is therefore key for models of coastal, naval and postwar British machines.
For modelers who build British aircraft of the Second World War and the postwar era and want an accurate dark sea gray on an acrylic base without an aggressive smell. Easy thinning with water will also suit those who are only starting out with an airbrush.
A water-based (acrylic) paint. Work in a well-ventilated area and do not inhale the atomized aerosol; use a respirator and extraction when spraying. Protect from frost and direct sunlight and close the bottle tightly after use. Keep out of the reach of children.
