Organizer on the wall MR. Paint for AQUA color

What the organizer is good for

Bottles of paint multiply on a modeling bench faster than they can be tidied away, and once there are several dozen of them, hunting for a shade takes more time than the spraying itself. A wall organizer moves the stock of paints off the bench and onto the wall. The shades are side by side and in view, the worktop stays free for the model, and a bottle has no way of tipping over into work under way.

Capacity and application

The organizer is built for bottles from the AQUA range by Mr. Paint and takes fifty-one of them; the number in the product name gives exactly the number of positions. Because the compartments are sized for one type of container, with paints from other ranges and other brands compare the diameter and the height of the bottle first, to see whether they will fit a position and will not wobble in it.

Placement tips

• Put it within reach above the worktop, but out of the path along which you carry a part-built model.
• Leave enough room above the organizer for a bottle to be lifted straight up without tilting.
• Order the paints by shade rather than by number; the eye finds the tone you want before you remember the code.
• When fixing it to the wall, mark the position in pencil and level the top edge with a spirit level.
• Leave only closed bottles standing in the compartments; open containers and thinners in use belong on the bench.
• Keep the free positions together, and further shades are then easier to add.
