The Easy Kit set builds the Boeing 737-800 airliner by snap-fitting the parts with no glue. The finished machine measures just under fourteen centimeters long with a span of just under thirteen centimeters and consists of only twenty-five parts, so it tends to be finished on the table in a single evening.
The 737-800 version is the best-selling member of the Next Generation family and in its cabin it takes around one hundred and eighty passengers. It entered service in 1998, and its recognition features are the upturned wingtip devices and the longer fuselage against the older 400 series. It is this very type that forms the backbone of the fleets of low-cost and traditional carriers all over the world. From the older generations it can also be told at a distance by the shape of the engine nacelle cowlings.
The parts are pre-colored and join on catches, and the markings are self-adhesive. Anyone who wants to take the result further can fill the seams, spray the whole thing with white and use classic decals from another maker. The landing gear legs are slender at this size, so handle them carefully. The machine can be stood on its wheels or hung in flight attitude on a thin wire.
A finish is not needed; the parts come in color and the joints are held by catches.
