Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cast resin part of the dome of the AN/APG-78 Longbow fire control radar for a model of the AH-64D attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the helicopter but a detail accessory that sharpens the characteristic radome mounted above the main rotor head. Intended for the AH-64D Longbow Apache kit from Hasegawa.
The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter. The AH-64D Longbow version carries the prominent dome of the AN/APG-78 fire control radar above the rotor, which allows targets to be found and designated even in reduced visibility. The radome is one of the most conspicuous recognition features of this version.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, separate it from the casting block and clean it up gently. Glue it with cyanoacrylate. Lay down a primer before painting and finish it in keeping with the rest of the machine.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
