A set of Soviet PTRD-41 anti-tank rifles in 1:35 scale from Firma49, resin weapons for figures and dioramas of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from the Firma49 brand holds miniatures of the Soviet PTRD-41 anti-tank rifle in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit or a figure but a weapon set with which you can arm figures or complete a diorama with faithful models of this characteristically long weapon.
The PTRD-41 was a Soviet single-shot anti-tank rifle of 14.5 mm caliber designed by Vasily Degtyarev. It appeared in 1941 and, thanks to its simplicity and an effective cartridge, could pierce the armor of light and medium tanks at shorter ranges. It became best known in the fighting at Moscow and Stalingrad.
The long, slender barrels call for careful handling: separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash them and glue with super glue. Paint the metal parts in dark steel and the wooden elements in brown glazes. Fine rubbing on the edges suggests wear in the field.
This is accessory armament, not a standalone model. Figures, paints and glue are not included in the package.
