Resin replacement wheels in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49 for the German VW Kübelwagen light off-road car. The set.1 variant with balloon tires in an underinflated state and with realistic flattening where they meet the ground. It is NOT a vehicle model – it is a detail accessory that replaces the kit wheels.
The VW Type 82 Kübelwagen was a German light multi-purpose car of the Second World War, deployed on every front. Wider balloon tires were fitted for sand and soft ground, and they were sometimes run slightly underinflated for better grip.
Wash the small wheels free of mold release agent, remove the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate (super glue); work with tweezers. Paint the tires in dark rubber shades and bring them out with dust pigments so that the underinflated stance shows.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
