This set from the Kelik brand holds color three-dimensional (3D) decals for detailing the cockpit of the MiG-21 F-13 fighter in its export form. It is not a kit or a photo-etched set but self-adhesive 3D decals on decal paper, which replace the flat engraved detail of the instrument panels, the side consoles and other elements of the cockpit. They are intended for a plastic model in 1:32 scale.
The decals have real thickness and are full color, so once applied the instrument panel reads three-dimensionally and legibly with no need to paint the dials laboriously by hand. Application is faster and cleaner than with photo-etch and even a less experienced modeler can manage it.
Press the parts onto a degreased, smooth surface, shape them carefully over the edges of the panels and press them down. For the greatest depth the individual instruments can be layered. The detail comes out after light shadow work and a light matte coat.
The set holds interior 3D decals only. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
