This is a resin conversion set, not a complete kit. It makes it possible to convert a model of the F-16 in 1:32 scale into the Israeli version F-16C Barak from the Block 40 production series. The set covers the specific external features of the Israeli version by which the machine differs from standard American F-16Cs.
The Israeli Air Force ordered Block 40 machines under the designation Barak (lightning) after the domestic Lavi program was canceled. Israeli F-16s differ from the American ones among other things in a fairing at the root of the vertical tail, revised avionics and a higher take-off weight. The machines were adapted for use against ground targets as well as for air combat.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The conversion calls for careful fitting and is intended for more experienced modelers. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
