This is a resin detail set, not a standalone model. The package contains 18 chaff and flare dispensers, with which the surface of a model of a jet fighter in 1:48 scale is completed and refined. The set comes from the Czech manufacturer of aircraft accessories Kopecky Scale Models.
The dispensers of chaff and flares (dipole reflectors and decoy flares) are placed on the lower and side surfaces of the fuselage of combat aircraft and serve to disrupt the radar and infrared guidance of anti-aircraft missiles. The castings replace simplified or missing parts from a plastic kit and add to the fidelity of the model. Thanks to the high number of pieces, the set will do for several projects or for fitting both sides.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting, then the shades according to the particular machine.
This is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
