This injection-molded plastic kit captures the South Korean helicopter assault ship Dokdo. The model is designed to be easy to build, the parts are molded in different colors and snap together, so even a beginner can manage the assembly. The set also includes an anchor, antennas and a stand.
Dokdo is the lead ship of the class of the same name of assault ships of the Republic of Korea Navy. A full-length flight deck allows helicopters to operate, and in a well deck at the stern the ship carries hovercraft, amphibious vehicles and a landing force. She serves for amphibious operations and for commanding forces.
Thanks to the parts being molded in different colors and snapping together, the model can be built even without glue, although fixing the joints with a thin cement for plastic makes them stronger. Even though the set allows a build without painting, a more faithful look comes from spraying naval gray and picking out the flight deck.
The model is supplied unassembled. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
