This kit from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains a set of miniature carrier aircraft of the US Navy from the period of the Second World War in 1:700 scale. This is not a model of one airplane, but an extensive set of several small aircraft of various types in injection-molded plastic, with which you will occupy the decks of models of aircraft carriers and of the escorting vessels in the same scale. Decals with national markings tend to be included as well.
The set includes the typical carrier machines of the US Navy of the Second World War - fighter aircraft, dive bombers and torpedo bombers. These types formed the basis of the carrier air groups on aircraft carriers in the fighting in the Pacific and represent a representative cross-section of the naval aviation of that time.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and handle them with tweezers; glue with thin cement for plastic in a small amount. Painting is possible with a brush as well as with an airbrush, and with the various types it is worth differentiating the color schemes. It is practical to paint the aircraft before seating them on the deck.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
