Eduard 1:72 A-37 Dragonfly masks is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set made of kabuki tape, for masking the canopy glazing and the wheels of a model of the light attack aircraft. It is not a model, but an accessory that makes painting easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of fine Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Cessna A-37 Dragonfly light attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit and it is not a finished model, but an accessory that makes masking easier and more accurate when spraying paint.
The masks are applied to the canopy frames and to the wheel rims, so that after spraying the glass stays clear and the tires stay free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The canopy frames therefore come out sharp and straight, with no tape to cut by hand.
The Cessna A-37 Dragonfly was an American light jet attack and counter-insurgency aircraft derived from the T-37 trainer. It was fitted with two small turbojets and carried underwing stores; it was used extensively in the Vietnam War.
The set contains pre-cut masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
