Resin flaps for the A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from Quickboost — an exact detail accessory, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin flaps for the American A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. It is not an airplane model but an exact replacement part for more experienced modelers that lets you show the flaps in the lowered position and replaces the simplified parts from the kit with more accurate castings with inner structure.
The A-7 Corsair II was a subsonic attack aircraft of the US Navy and the US Air Force, used from the 1960s from carriers and from land. Lowered flaps do a great deal for the silhouette of a standing model and reveal the leading and trailing surfaces of the wing. The part is meant to refine an existing Corsair II model in the same scale.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue from the mold. Cut off the casting blocks with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways while sanding resin. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) — ordinary plastic cement does not hold on resin. Before gluing, try the angle of extension and the fit with the wing dry.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin accessory for completing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
