It replaces the original cockpit of an A-7D Corsair II plastic kit with a one-piece resin casting carrying crisp detail on the tub, the seat, the side panels and the instrument panel. The set matches the cockpit of this version and is meant for experienced modelers.
The Vought A-7 Corsair II was an American subsonic attack aircraft with a single turbojet, valued for its long range, armament load and accuracy of attack. The A-7D version was the form for the US Air Force (USAF) committed to supporting ground forces; it came from the carrier-based type but was adapted to land operations.
This is a resin casting for advanced builders. First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean up the cut surfaces, always with your airways protected. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); dry-fit the surfaces before you fix them. It pays to paint the cockpit and bring it up before the fuselage is closed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin set. The aircraft kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
