Eduard Brassin 1:72 AIM-54C Phoenix is a resin detail set with models of long-range air-to-air guided missiles for filling out plastic kits in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of an airplane but an aftermarket accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard belongs to the Brassin line, that is to the resin accessories cast in high detail. The package holds a set of AIM-54C Phoenix air-to-air guided missiles at high resolution, filled out with fine photo-etched parts and decals. It is a detail accessory, not a model of an airplane in its own right.
The AIM-54C Phoenix was an American long-range radar-guided air-to-air missile, typical of the F-14 Tomcat carrier-based fighter aircraft. The resin castings replace the simpler plastic weapons from the base kit with a more faithful rendering of the shape of the body of the missile, the fins and the seeker head. The set is intended for models of F-14 aircraft in 1:72 scale, on which these stores were hung.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the remains of the mold release agent from the mold are removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, not by breaking them off, and sand the surfaces with protection of the airways. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before spraying the paint we recommend laying a primer filler on first.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue and paints.
