A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for the Alpha Jet E trainer in Belgian and French markings, the first part.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Alpha Jet is a two-seat twin-engine jet aircraft that came about through international cooperation and was used both for advanced pilot training and for light combat duties. The E version belonged to the training configuration, and machines of this type flew with both the Belgian and the French air forces. It is precisely these two air forces that the sheet focuses on.
These are decals in 1:72 scale. The designation part 1 means that this is the first part, followed by further parts of the same range with further machines. The sheet suits a modeler who wants a trainer on the shelf in colors that are not to be found in an ordinary kit.
Before you wet the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is an adhesive version: wetted adhesive film is ruined for good, whereas a waterslide decal can still be soaked later. With the usual waterslide sheet, proceed as follows. Coat the area under the decal with gloss varnish so that no silvery veil appears. Cut the motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it can be slid along the paper. Then carry it to the model, pull the paper out and line the position up with a damp brush. Blot the excess water away. Once dry, go over it with a matte or semi-matte varnish.
A decal sheet is supplied. The aircraft model, paints and varnishes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
