The Peewit masking set for the Avia B-534/IV 1:72 consists of punched painting masks that make spraying the cockpit frames easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely punched painting masks from Peewit intended for models of the Avia B-534/IV fighter biplane in 1:72 scale. The masks are in a thin masking material that follows the shapes of the frames of the glazing well and makes a clean, sharp transition of color with no bleeding possible.
You stick the masks onto the glazing and the framing of the cockpit, then spray the color of the frames. Once it is dry you lift the masks, and clean transparent glass is left underneath. That does away with the slow and inaccurate painting of thin frames by hand. The masks are shaped specifically for the given Avia B-534/IV kit in this scale.
The glazing must be clean and degreased. Separate the mask carefully, seat it precisely with no bubbles and spray in thin coats at right angles to the surface, so that paint does not seep under the edge. Lift the mask while the paint has not yet hardened completely.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
